“You are such a nerd!”

Ahhh yes, the classic school yard insult used by “cool kids” to put down the actual interesting people. But, why? What does it mean to be a “nerd”? To me, being nerdy is about having interests and being passionate about expressing those interests. It’s about being authentic and true to yourself.

The best part of being a nerd:

EVERYONE IS ONE. Everybody has something that they are passionate about! Whether it be food, music, travelling, trivia, whatever! Everbody is nerdy about something and this is not something to be be ashamed or embarassed by, it should be embraced! It’s what makes me, me and you, you.
